Adopt Macedonia or one of her 9 unreached people groups as a focus of prayer and sending for your church. There are 7,246 unreached people groups in the world, and an estimated 57,053 Evangelical Christians for each unreached people group in the world (Source: The Traveling Team, Status of Global Christianity). What if your church committed to pray, support, and send until just one of these groups was taken off that list?

Every time the Kingdom has expanded, it has been accompanied by extraordinary prayer. Our God is the Lord of all nations - and he invites all of us into his story!

You can commit your church, prayer group or family to designated Sundays, nights of prayer and focus weeks for unreached people groups, families, and communities across this country. Some of you will also come.

Here are some ideas for how to engage in the Year of Prayer as someone who lives outside of Macedonia:

• Send a team from your church or small group to for pioneer worship and prayer. You are invited to come to North Macedonia and join with believers in this nation for strategic prayer, worship, and encouragement. We have a goal of praying through each of the specific areas of the country, but we need your help. Prayer teams are welcome throughout 2027 to walk villages, serve local churches and pray on the ground alongside believers here.

• Designate time for prayer as a church. Set aside 5 minutes in your service, once a month, to pray for specific needs or people in Macedonia. Share the prayer guide with your small groups and encourage them to pray each month this next year for specific things. Start (or restart) a new prayer meeting, and include Macedonia and her people as a regular topic alongside the needs of your own community.

• Pray as an individual. Set aside regular time to pray for people groups, ministries, news headlines, and more. The Father would love to share his heart and teach each of us how to pray, specifically, for those ones that he loves across this nation.

• Invest in the future of ministry in Macedonia. Connect with a ministry worker or church in Macedonia to support in their projects or personal ministry from your missions budget. As well positioned teams and church ministries serving the scattered believers in this country, this would be a blessing to them and allow them to expand work and take advantage of new opportunities.
